On my adventures across the internet I happened to stumble upon these photos of Britney Spears from the 90's. She is one of my all-time fave pop princesses. It only seemed right to take it as inspiration so I can hit you one more time with a blog post! See what I did there?

Britney was often seen sporting a crop top or a tube top so I thought the only way to really get in the zone (Alright I'll stop with the Britney jokes now) was by wearing one. Tube tops are pretty simple to make if you're in the mood to get crafty. I went with this camo print, because when thinking of 90's clothes it's hard not to be reminded of that trend. Let's not forget Aaliyah and those iconic leather camouflage pants of hers.

I tried to keep the look as true to Shady style as possible, so of course I had to wear some flatforms! They also work well with the 90's theme. I have always treasured my Amoolia sunnies and so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to show those off too. I'm not gonna lie though, I am a tad bitter that everyone else got to sample them for free on Snapchat recently.

I felt like having my braids up in twin tails would tie in nicely. It's a great way to keep my hair out of my eyes while still showing its volume. Plus I thought it would be a different take on Britney's hairstyle from the Baby One More Time video.

I'm usually a lover of all things high waist and skinny fitted, but I opted for these low-rise pants with a slight flare at the bottom. They are the same purple as my sunnies and have little diamantes at the back for extra detail. These are actually vintage children's wear and I honestly have no idea how I managed to fit in them. Well just about...

I couldn't wear trousers with purple diamantes and not wear these matching door knockers! It would be a sin to own them both and not wear them together.
